A research team headed by a modern Japanese historian has found new evidence supporting the argument asserting the Japanese military’s involvement in the so-called “comfort women” issue in the National Archives of Japan.
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo criticized a draft of the energy plan which ruling parties approved, saying, “They are trying to revive the myth of nuclear power plants’ safety.”
Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Yamashita Yoshiki protested against the Abe Cabinet decision to replace the Three Principles banning Japan’s arms trade with new three principles allowing exports of weapons and military-related technology.
