Going against international efforts for a post-carbon future, 48 coal-fueled power plants are planned or are already being constructed in Japan, the environmental NGO Kiko Network has revealed.
A union representing part-time lecturers at Waseda University announced that it agreed with the university to settle their labor dispute on condition that the university will withdraw its policy of dismissing part-time lecturers after five years of service.
