Recently-disclosed diplomatic documents on the 1989 "Tiananmen Square crackdown" reveal that the government of Japan worked on other countries at the Arch Summit in France to tone down the wording of the condemnation of China in the G7 statement.
The number of workers at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) will be increased by 361, which will contribute to increasing the NIID’s capability in infectious disease prevention and control as well as in responding to infectious disease emergencies.
