Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on November 19 received Chung Eui-Yong, co-chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and ICAPP secretary general, at the JCP Head Office.
Chung said that the ICAPP has uniquely evolved with many Asian political parties involved, irrespective of whether they are opposition or ruling parties, since its founding ten years ago.
Shii stated, “The JCP appreciates that the ICAPP has kept issuing declarations that have contributed to the progress of the world for the last decade.”
Shii also said that he will take part in the 6th ICAPP General Assembly scheduled for December 1 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and hopes he can contribute to the success of the conference.
