The Japanese Communist Party on November 12 announced that since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, the party received roughly 200 million yen in donations from throughout the country to support Ukraine.
The JCP has sent all the money to Ukraine via UNHCR (nearly 60 million yen), UNICEF (over 36 million yen), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) (about 44 million yen), the UN World Food Programme (WFP) (about 30 million yen), and the UN Women (more than 25 million yen), respectively.
