Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo and JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo, who heads the JCP International Commission, on September 28 attended a reception held in Tokyo to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Japan-China Treaty of Peace and Friendship.

Shii exchanged greetings with Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao and had friendly conversations with domestic and foreign guests.
