Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira on March 25 demanded that all political parties and politicians, who had had relations with the Unification Church (Family Federation for World Peace and Unification), disclose their connections with the Moonies to the public.
He made these comments at a press conference in the Diet building following the dissolution order the Tokyo District Court issued against the Unification Church.
He pointed out the possibility that the organization may transfer funds to its affiliated bodies, adding, “Therefore, the Diet should take legislative measures to strengthen the authority of the liquidator and facilitate providing relief to the victims.”
