Ogata joins ISIS Malaysia roundtable
Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo took part in the 25th Asia Pacific Roundtable in Kuala Lumpur from May 30 to June 1, hosted by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia.
The event was participated in by about 350 scholars and government officials from ASEAN countries, the U.S., Europe, Japan, and China.
Ogata also had talks with Tan Sri Mohamed Jawhar, chairman of the ISIS Malaysia.

Kasai attends farewell reception for South Korean ambassador
JCP Lower House member Kasai Akira on June 2 participated in a farewell reception for South Korean Ambassador to Japan Kwon Chul-hyun at a hotel in Tokyo.
Kasai conveyed to Kwon his appreciation for the ambassador’s efforts to reach a conclusion in a bilateral agreement to return the collection of Korean royal documents from Japan to South Korea.
