Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi had talks with the departing Nepalese ambassador to Japan, Ganesh Yonzan Tamang, at the JCP head office on October 19.
The ambassador thanked the JCP for its cooperation and support during the last four years of his office and talked about Nepal’s ongoing efforts for peace-making and enacting a Nepalese constitution. He also explained his country’s assistance to the areas hit by the Great East Japan Disaster.
Ichida expressed the JCP’s thanks to the ambassador for his contribution to the strengthened friendly relations between Nepal and the JCP. He also explained to the ambassador about the JCP work for relief of disaster victims and the JCP proposal for total withdrawal from nuclear power generation.
