Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on March 31 met with Prabhakar Pradhanang, Nepalese minister of general administration and political bureau member of the Unified Marxism-Leninism Party, at the JCP head office in Tokyo.
Nepalese Ambassador to Japan Ganesh Yonzan Taman also attended the meeting.
Mr. Pradhanang talked about the political situation in Nepal following the major change from a monarchy to a republic in 2008, and the drafting of a new constitution under UML Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal in May.
Ogata expressed thanks to the ambassador for his interest in the outcome of the JCP 25th Congress and talked about the current political situation in Japan.
