Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on June 15 took part in a welcome party for former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in Tokyo.

Ogata and Thaksin greeted each other and recalled their previous meetings in Bangkok, Beijing, and Tokyo.
