Ogata attends 4th of July reception
Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on July 4 attended a reception celebrating the 236th independence day anniversary of the United States held at the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Tokyo.
Ogata offered his congratulations to U.S. Ambassador to Japan John V. Roos and had friendly chats with other participants.
Ogata attends Venezuelan music concert
JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on July 5 congratulated Venezuelan Ambassador to Japan Seiko Luis Ishikawa Kobayashi on the 201st anniversary of Venezuela’s independence at a celebratory concert in Tokyo.
Soprano singer Erika Colon Ishikawa, the ambassador’s wife, performed with the Tokyo College of Music Symphony Orchestra and the Choir.
