The Japanese Communist Party has made a donation to assist the victims of the cyclone that hit Bangladesh in November.

On December 5, JCP International Bureau Acting Director Nishiguchi Hikaru met with Bangladeshi Ambassador to Japan Ashraf-ud-Doula at the Bangladesh Embassy to deliver the donations.

The JCP has been raising money for cyclone relief since Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi visited the Embassy in November to express sympathy for the disaster victims. - Akahata, December 6, 2007
