Okinawa Police on July 13 arrested a U.S. marine for drunk driving.
According to the police, the arrested was First Lieutenant Louis Kim, 27, of the U.S. Marine Corps Futenma Air Station. At around 2:45 a.m., the lieutenant was stopped by a police officer for running a red light in Chatan Town. The police officer gave him a breath alcohol test and alcohol level exceeding the limit was detected.
The marine denied drinking alcohol.
