The fifth theoretical exchange meeting between the Japanese Communist Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam began on December 16 at the JCP headquarters in Tokyo.
On the first day, CPV delegation head Dinh The Huynh, the chair of the CPV Central Committee Theory Council, talked about their view on the present state of the world as well as the achievements and problems associated with the Doi Moi, Vietnam’s economic reform policy.
JCP delegation head Fuwa Tetsuzo, who is the JCP Social Sciences Institute director, talked about the history of his party’s theoretical study on socialism and the process of revising the JCP Program 10 years ago.
