JCP Ogata meets with CPV delegate
Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on June 26 received a visit by Nguyen The Ky, deputy head of the Commission for Propaganda and Education of the Communist Party of Vietnam, at the JCP head office in Tokyo.
Referring to the current situation in the Asian region, Ky explained about the CPV’s position on territorial issues in the South China Sea, such as the Paracel Islands claimed by both Vietnam and China.
Introducing the JCP’s stance on the Paracel Islands issue, Ogata emphasized the significance of efforts to resolve the dispute in a peaceful manner.
