Okinawa Police on November 4 arrested a U.S. marine assigned to Camp Foster for allegedly beating a local woman in the parking lot of a supermarket in Chatan Town.
According to the police, at around midnight on July 30, the 21-year-old private first class punched the woman in the face several times.
The suspect has been under indictment for a robbery resulting in bodily injury which he committed in August in Uruma City.
