Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on December 18 attended Chinese Ambassador to Japan Cui Tian-kai’s post assumption reception in Tokyo.
Shii said to Cui that he was hoping for a further development of relations between the JCP and the Communist Party of China as well as between the two countries. Cui in reply said, “I share your hopes.”
Shii was accompanied by JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo and Diet Policy Commission Chair Kokuta Keiji.
