JCP EC Chair Tamura urges gov’t to provide emergency subsidies to stop college tuition hikes

Japanese Communist Party Executive Committee Chair Tamura Tomoko (2nd right) submitted to the Education Ministry a written request demanding that the government provide emergency subsidies to universities and colleges in order to prevent an increase in their tuition fees. This action was joined by JCP members of the House of Representtives Horikawa Akiko (4th from left) and Motomura Nobuko (2nd from left) and JCP members of the House of Councilors Kira Yoshiko (3rd from right), Yamazoe Taku (3rd from left), and Nihi Sohei (left).
