JCP Kasai attends ROK-Japan lawmakers unions' meeting

Japanese Communist Party member of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira on November 12 attended a meeting jointly held by the Japan-South Korea, South Korea-Japan Parliamentarians' Unions in the Diet building in Tokyo, along with the new chair of the South Korean league Kim Jin-pyo and Japanese league's chair Nukaga Fukushiro.

In the joint meeting, lawmakers of both countries exchanged views on issues concerning Japan-South Korea relations as well as on the unions' future activities.

JCP lawmakers visit Palestine’s representative office in Tokyo to express condolences

Japanese Communist Party lawmakers Kokuta Keiji, Kasai Akira (House of Representatives) and Inoue Satoshi (House of Councilors) on November 13 visited the Permanent General Mission of Palestine in Tokyo to sign the condolence book on the death of Dr. Saeb Erekat, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary-General, who contributed to working for peace and stability in the Middle East.

The three JCP parliamentarians held conversations with a councillor at the general mission, Eyad Al-Hindi.
