Kasai attends 50th anniversary reception of EU Delegation to Japan

Japanese Communist Party member of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira on May 9 attended a reception held in Tokyo by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan to commemorate its 50th anniversary.

May 9 is celebrated as Europe Day every year in Europe, commemorating the Schuman Declaration, the starting point for European unity, which was presented five years after the end of WWII.

Kasai extended his congratulations to EU Ambassador to Japan Jean-Eric Paquet and had friendly conversations with both foreign and domestic guests attending the reception.
