Koike attends Japan Medical Association reception

Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira, M.D., on July 23 attended a reception held in Tokyo by the Japan Medical Association (JMA) to welcome its new leadership.

Koike had friendly conversations with newly-elected JMA executives, including newly-elected President Matsumoto Kichiro, and expressed his determination to work hard to protect Japan’s universal health insurance system.
