JCP Chair Shii attends Pakistan National Day reception

Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on March 23 attended a reception held at a Tokyo hotel by Pakistani Ambassador to Japan Noor Muhammad Jadmani to celebrate the 69th National Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Shii, referring to his visit to Pakistan in 2002 and 2006, told the Pakistani ambassador that the JCP hopes that Japan and Pakistan will further develop their bilateral relations based on mutual respect of national cultures.

Jadmani said he agreed with Shii’s view that dialogues between different civilizations are important.
