JCP Koike talks with CPC international department vice head

Japanese Communist Party Policy Commission Chair Koike Akira on May 28 held a talk with Yu Hongjun, Vice-Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, at the JCP headquarters.
Yu is visiting Japan as head of the delegation of the China Center for Contemporary World Studies.
Yu expressed his appreciation for the development of the JCP-CPC relations which were normalized in 1998, especially the achievements made through theoretical discussions that were held three times.
Koike explained the JCP’s diplomatic vision to pursue security through peaceful means with the abrogation of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty.
They also exchanged opinions regarding various international issues, socialist movements around the world, and problems affecting the Korean Peninsula.
