Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Yamashita Yoshiki and JCP member of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira on July 2 attended a reception held in Tokyo to celebrate Egypt’s National Day.
The two conveyed their congratulations to Egyptian Ambassador to Japan Ayman Aly Kamel who hosted the reception. Yamashita recalled his visit to Egypt at the end of last year and called for the nation’s continuing cooperation for the abolition of nuclear weapons as well as for world peace.
