Shii & Yamazoe attend Bastille Day reception

Japanese Communist Party member of the House of Representatives Shii Kazuo and JCP member of the House of Councilors Yamazoe Taku on July 11 participated in a reception held at the French Ambassador’s official residence in Tokyo to celebrate Bastille Day, the national day of France.

Shii extended his heartfelt congratulations on the national day to French Ambassador to Japan Philippe Setton, and expressed expectations for continued friendship between the two countries. Shii held warm conversations with Japanese and foreign guests at the reception.

Shii handed over the English-version of the JCP pamphlet, “Proposals for Peace Creation in East Asia”, to French counsellor Emilien Roulot who attended the JCP 29th Congress in January.
