Fuwa will visit China to discuss global economic crisis with CPC
|
At the invitation of the Communist Party of China, Japanese Communist Party Social Sciences Institute Director Fuwa Tetsuzo will visit China from April 19 to have theoretical discussions with CPC officials and researchers.
The CPC has proposed that the discussion, which is the third in a series, focus on the “current global economic crisis and Marxism (scientific socialism).” The discussion is expected to include the question of how Marxist theory recognizes the ongoing crisis and what influences it will have on capitalism and socialism in the future as well as today.
The JCP and the CPC held their first theoretical exchange meeting in December 2005 in Tokyo. The second meeting took place in Beijing in May 2006. In the two previous meetings the two parties discussed a broad range of issues relating to scientific socialism. It is the first time that a particular issue has been chosen as the theme for the theoretical discussions.
Fuwa, who is also a JCP Executive Committee member, will be accompanied by JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo and Social Sciences Institute Vice Director Yamaguchi Tomio.
