Shii meets with French ambassador to Japan
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on May 23 met with Ambassador of France to Japan Christian Masset at the JCP head office in Tokyo.
Shii expressed his hope that French President Francois Hollande’s official visit to Japan slated for June will contribute to the improvement of the bilateral relationship in various fields.
The ambassador explained to Shii about the president’s official visit and its significance for the two countries.
Shii attends farewell party for South Korean Ambassador to Japan
The Japan-South Korea Parliamentarians' Union on May 23 at the Diet building gave a party for outgoing South Korean Ambassador to Japan Shin Kak-soo.
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo and JCP Lower House member Kasai Akira attended the party. Shii exchanged friendly greetings with the ambassador and handed him a Korean translation of his book.
