On the same day, Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo visited Pakistani ambassador to Japan Kamuran Niaz at his official residence in Tokyo to express his deep condolences on the death of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and many other people in the recent terrorist attack. He also expressed hope that the Pakistani government and people cooperate to take effective measures to restore political stability in the country and make progress in the effort to get rid of terrorism.

Thanking the JCP chair for the visit, Niaz said that although the situation in Pakistan is likely to become unstable and difficult to deal with after this tragic incident, the Pakistani government and people will never tolerate any such criminal acts of terrorism.
