JCP Ichida attends welcome party for South Korea’s new ambassador

Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ichida Tadayoshi, member of the House of Councilors, on July 25 attended a reception in Tokyo to welcome South Korea’s new Ambassador to Japan Lee Joon-gyu.

The Korean Residents Union in Japan (Mindan) and the Japan-Korea Friendship Association co-hosted this reception.

Ichida expressed his welcome to Lee as ambassador and had friendly conversations with foreign and Japanese guests.

Along with Ichida, JCP members of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira and Kokuta Keiji also attended the reception.
