JCP vice chair meets with Cuban first deputy foreign minister

Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on April 2 had a dinner meeting with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba Marcelino Medina Gonzales and Cuban Ambassador to Japan Jose Fernandez de Cossio at the ambassador’s residence in Tokyo.

They talked about recent events in Cuba and Latin America as well as the political situation in Japan.

Ichida attends party to welcome Bulgarian envoy

Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi on April 9 attended a dinner party to welcome a Bulgarian delegation headed by President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva and exchanged greetings with her.

The delegation is visiting Japan at the invitation of the Japanese House of Councilors.

The party took place at the Upper House chairman’s official residence in Tokyo.
