Following the first Japan-U.S. negotiations on “Trump tariffs”, JCP Secretariat Head Koike Akira said that Japan should unite with the international community, especially with Asian countries, to have the unreasonable U.S. tariff measures withdrawn.
JCP lawmaker Yamazoe Taku said that Israel in its resumed large-scale military offensive in Gaza even targeted ambulances engaged in rescue action, demanding that the Japanese government criticize Israel’s act for violating international law.
JCP Secretariat Head Koike Akira said that official confirmation of willingness to join forces with the JCP in “single-seat constituencies” is a prerequisite for electoral cooperation with other opposition parties in the Upper House election this summer.
