The Welfare Ministry decided to implement measures to reduce nursing-care costs imposed on victims of the 2011 Great East Japan Disaster. This is a result of joint efforts made by local residents and the Japanese Communist Party.
Leaders of the Japanese Communist Party and four other opposition parties reached an agreement to cooperate in the coming national elections in order to scrap the unconstitutional national security legislation.
The Japanese Communist, Democratic, Japan Innovation, People’s Life, and Social Democratic parties jointly submitted a bill to the House of Representatives, demanding the abolition of the security-related legislation.
