List of Past issues The kick-off rally of this year’s nationwide antinuke Peace March heading toward the annual World Conference against A and H Bombs scheduled for August in Hiroshima and Nagasaki was held on May 6 via online. JCP Secretariat Head Koike Akira recognized the gov't decision to extend the state of emergency as unavoidable. He, however, criticized the government for not offering a clear explanation or criteria for determining when to end the state of emergency. Union activists celebrated the 91st May Day through online events and other actions that abide by the social distancing rules, while large-scale rallies and parades were cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
