Okinawa’s Naha Police on May 6 arrested a U.S. marine on suspicion of robbery and assault.

According to the police, the marine seized a taxi, injuring the driver, at about six in the morning in Naha City.

Attempting to escape police pursuit, the robber abandoned the cab and jumped into the sea, but was handcuffed about 20 minutes later.
