Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi and JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on April 2 attended a reception given by Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Ashraf-ud-Doula in a Tokyo hotel to celebrate Bangladesh’s 38th Independence and National Day.

Ichida offered Ashraf-ud-Doula his congratulations on the memorable day.

He also had conversations with ambassadors from other countries and other participants.

Bangladesh achieved independence on March 26, 1971 from West Pakistan.
