Twelve contingent workers who have received dismissal notices from Isuzu Motors Limited filed a lawsuit on April 2 with the Tokyo District Court against the automaker, arguing that they had long been forced to work as “disguised independent contractors” and that they have the legal right to continue to work as full-time workers.
There is no sane alternative but to scrap such a reckless agreement after a thorough discussion. Japan is called upon to halt the plan to realign U.S. forces in Japan in order to keep Japan as a non-aggressor nation based on equal Japan-U.S. relations.
The Japanese Communist Party has been consistent in opposing military responses to any possible North Korean rocket launch while the government has been seeking to respond militarily without making any diplomatic efforts to urge North Korea to exercise restraint.
