Ogata attends GCC Day reception
Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on April 22 attended a reception hosted by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Tokyo.
Ogata engaged in relaxed conversations with diplomats and ambassadors to Japan from the GCC nations: the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on April 27 attended South Africa’s national day reception held at its embassy in Tokyo.
South Africans celebrate the day as “Freedom Day” every year to commemorate the nation’s first non-racial national election in 1994. This year marks the 21st anniversary.
Ogata offered his congratulations to South African Ambassador to Japan Mohau Pheko and had friendly talks with Japanese as well as foreign guests.
