Japanese Communist Party Vice-Chair Ogata Yasuo on February 7 attended a reception to celebrate Tet (the lunar New Year in Vietnam) and the 2013 friendship year between Japan and Vietnam, hosted by the Vietnamese ambassador to Japan. Ogata offered his congratulations to Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung, and engaged in friendly conversations with him and other guests.
Ogata attends Iranian National Day reception
Japanese Communist Party Vice-Chair Ogata on February 8 attended the Iranian National Day reception at the Iranian ambassador’s official residence in Tokyo. Ogata congratulated Ambassador Reza Nazar Ahari and had the opportunity to chat with a number of the guests.
