JCP Kasai enjoys Korean cultural properties with South Koreans
|
Japanese Communist Party member of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira, together with delegates from South Korea, on February 6 visited the Tokyo National Museum to view cultural properties coming from the Korean Peninsula.
South Korean imperial cultural center director Yi Won, accompanied by Kasai, is a great grandchild of Korean Dynasty King Gojong. Yi and Kasai have built a friendship through the return of royal protocols of the Joseon Dynasty from Japan to Korea, for which Kasai had exerted a great deal of effort himself.
Guided by museum officials, they were able to view Korean bronze wares, ground stone tools, ceramics, and Buddhist objects of art.
