JCP Vice Chair meets with Cuban ambassador

Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on July 12 held a meeting in Tokyo with Cuban Ambassador to Japan Marcos Rodriguez.

They exchanged views on the latest Upper House election results, the political climate in Japan, and the current situation in Cuba and Latin America.

Ogata attends Bastille Day reception

Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on the evening of July 14 attended a reception celebrating Bastille Day held at the French Ambassador’s residence in Tokyo.

Ogata offered his congratulations to Ambassador Thierry Dana, who hosted the reception, and had friendly conversations with Japanese and foreign guests.
